Have you looked into electrostatic technology for almond spraying? Our units are ultra low-volume and quite often save our farmers 30-60% in chemical costs.
ESS, I have heard of them and have heard reviews from growers. I do agree that they can reduce the amount of pesticides sprayed significantly. Other than that, I do not know much about them - could you email some info at daviddoll01@gmail.com ? In the mean while, I will see what i can dig up.
